What did you study in college?
For my undergraduate degree I studied Music Education at Kentucky State University (2018 Graduate)! I love music but I also love working with students and this eventually led me to pursuing a master’s degree in Student Affairs in Higher Education from here on the Hill (2021 Graduate).
Advice for new Hilltoppers?
Get involved! There is a multitude of campus organizations and events here at WKU and you never know what you may find that interest you! Make the best of this university and make time to find out who you really are!
What does the WKU experience mean to you?
To me the WKU experience means the opportunity to engage with this diverse community and for it to become a family. WKU is home to students, faculty, and staff from all over the world coming from various backgrounds, providing opportunities everyone to become better well-rounded individuals!
My favorite WKU tradition and/or memory is:
One of my favorite WKU memories would have to be participating in my first homecoming on the hill! Seeing all the alumni come back and show their love and support for the university made me realize I was somewhere special!
What is your favorite spot on WKU's campus?
Being a huge football fan my favorite spot would have to be Houchens Industries L. T. Smith Stadium! I grew up down the road from WKU and used to love hearing the cannons go off every time we scored a touchdown! Go Tops!
